1. What’s the biggest issue you’re hearing about from your constituents?
The issues I’m hearing the most about are local government funding and property taxes. There are many communities in my district that are feeling the pressure of inflation for everything from road construction to EMS to paying employees. My constituents have expressed support for seeing some additional funding for local units of government but at the same time they don’t want to see their property taxes go up.
2. If you were King for a day, what reform would you enact?
I’d fix shared revenue so it’s more equitable across the state.
