Alex Ignatowski

With an extensive background working in Wisconsin’s executive branch, Alex Ingatowski joined the Institute for Reforming Government as the Director of State Budget and Government Reform in 2022.

Alex’s experience includes working in former Governor Scott Walker’s Administration as a cabinet-level position at the Department of Financial Institutions; as a policy and legislative adviser at the Department of Health Services; and as an adviser to several Public Service Commission commissioners.

Most recently, he was legislative policy adviser for Waukesha County. Alex’s vast experience and skill sets will help IRG continue developing reforms that expand opportunities for Wisconsinites.
