1. What is the biggest issue you’re hearing from your constituents?
Lack of childcare which is amplifying workforce issues. Childcare centers have wait lists, so parents are not able to take jobs, or are leaving their current jobs. Both employers and childcare centers are having a difficult time filling their staffing needs. We need to reform our childcare system and find ways to, while keeping safety in mind, reduce regulations which increase costs.
2. If you were given the opportunity to enact one reform, what would it be?
Universal School Choice. Competition leads to better quality educational opportunities.
3. Tell us something that people don’t know about you?
I climbed a volcano in Guatemala.
