Wisconsin Gubernatorial Candidates Share Their Vision for the State
What’s Next for Wisconsin? Candidates for Governor Weigh In
As Wisconsin prepares for its next gubernatorial election, voters deserve a clear understanding of where candidates stand on the issues that matter most.
That’s why our organization sent a detailed questionnaire to every declared candidate for governor on March 5, 2026—asking not just about policy priorities, but about their broader vision for Wisconsin’s future.
We’re pleased to share that several candidates have already responded, including Francesca Hong, Joel Brennan, Zachary Roper, and Carlos Dixon. Their full responses are now available on our website.
These candidates weighed in on key issues such as:
- The biggest challenges facing Wisconsin families—from affordability to education
- Priorities for the state budget
- Plans to improve K-12 outcomes
- Strategies to lower the cost of living and grow the economy
- And yes—what they believe makes Wisconsin special (including their favorite supper club)
This questionnaire was designed to give voters a more complete picture of each candidate—not just where they stand politically, but how they think about leadership, priorities, and the future of our state.
